What is Prospero's Project?

We think of Prospero’s Project as a place for book-lovers to gather, discover, meet and share – a kind of social club for readers, and a gallery for makers. Plus, it supports our Social Enterprise . . .

Prospero's Project is located in the building that used to house Much Ado Books. There you’ll find

Helping our Social Enterprise

Entry to Prospero’s Project costs £2, refundable on purchases of £10 or more. The charge supports our social enterprise, also called Prospero’s Project. We are currently giving new books to a number of foodbanks, for their clients; we are also supporting a school library. You can learn more about the Social Enterprise by clicking here.

(Members of the Much Ado Books Readers Club enjoy free access. And during special workshops and events we will waive the usual donation for participants.)

Opening Times

From 22 April, Prospero’s Project will be open Friday through Monday, from 1pm to 5pm. Also by chance or appointment. E-mail for more information, or call us on 01323 871444
