Ravilious in Sussex - Then and Now

Sorry - Ravilious in Sussex is sold out. We don't think another edition is likely, but we live in hope!

Artist Eric Ravilious is associated with the Sussex Downs - he lived in Eastbourne from childhood, and studied at the Eastbourne School of Art. His friendship with Peggy Angus often brought him to her house, Furlongs, and throughout the 1930s he created paintings and prints of the Sussex landscape.

Now, Penelope Butterworth has tracked down the sites of some of his most popular work. Eric Ravilious in Sussex - Then and Now, presents the art together with current photographs of the sites, creating a fascinating tour of the Sussex he knew. (There's even a map so you can retrace the trail!)

Stop in to purchase your own signed copies of this fascinating 40-page tour of the beloved artist's Sussex work for just £8 each. In a soft cover with a lovely Ravilious patterned paper wrapper, it is a terrific guide to the artist and the countryside he loved!
