Uppercase Magazine 62: Domestic Arts
Uppercase Magazine 62: Domestic Arts
Uppercase 62 is devoted to ‘Domestic Arts’; the cover features a mosaic leading to an article about artists and crafters using domestic themes, including plate-making and still-life paintings.
As usual, there is lots more to the magazine. Advice for makers (“How to Charge What you’re Worth”); an exploration of the graphic art created for Jell-o; a two-page abecedary of design in the house; a visual history of shelf paper (!); a selection of food illustration - and lots more besides.
With the domestic theme, we can’t resist adding a piece of handiwork to each issue we sell. You’ll find something lace-y, perhaps crocheted or knitted - a random piece from our haberdashery.
Order your copy posted to your door, or arrange to collect it at Much Ado.
